My name is Katrina Martin.  I am a substitute teacher in many Western New York school districts.  I love the challenges each day of teaching brings and the interesting educators and students I meet along the way. I also participate in many educational workshops where I learn more about the Common Core State Standards, teaching strategies, learning styles, literacy, and technology implementation in classrooms. In my spare time, I enjoy sharing my experiences and educational resources through my blog.

Personally, I enjoy reading mysteries and thrillers, writing, watching television (many shows on the Discovery Channel, HGTV, and the Science Channel), going for walks, cooking, baking, cheering for the Buffalo Bills, and staying up-to-date with the latest gadgets.  I currently live in Western New York, with my husband, Nick, our sons, Cameron and Tucker, and our pug, Lily.
